Instructions

1. Open your word processing program (i.e. Notepad, Microsoft Word, etc.). To find Notepad on Windows, click "start", then "All Programs", then "accessories". You may then open "Notepad" or the similar "Wordpad". If you do not have a word proccessing program, you can download one for free at this website: http://www.abisource.com/.

2. Log on with your username and password you recieve in your activation email.

3. After the Program loads and the intro finishes, you will find a menu on the left showing links to the different sections of the program.

4. Begin with theintroduction to the course. One click will start the audio, and another will stop it.*

5. Clicking the other links will bring you to a "submenu" for the module containing links to the actual content of the program.

6. When you arrive at a section, the sound will start and notes will begin to appear in queue with the audio.

7. If you would like to view all of the bullets for a section you can click the button to the left called "All Bullets". To return to the "real-time" bullets, click "Bullets".

8. The "Back" button brings you back to the sub menu.

9. The "Next" button brings you to the next section.

10. If you would like to return to the main menu, you may click the "Main" button at any time.

11. While listening to a section, you can play, stop, or pause it by clicking the play, stop, or pause buttons.

12. During every section it is highly encouraged to take notes and answer the questions in your word processing program.

*In some instances, the commonly used web browser, Internet Explorer, will force you to "select" the Flash file being played before buttons are operational. If, by chance, this does occur, simply re-click the button, and the issue should not arise again until a new browser window has been opened. The above instructions should again solve the problem.

**In this program, it is not necessary to "double-click" each button or link. Doing so may cause anomalies in the program that would not normally occur (for example, two sound files playing simultaneously). If a problem does occur, note your progress in the program, and refresh your browser.

If there are any questions or comments regarding the program, please feel free the offer them to us.
