Remember Me

Meet the Program Developer: Nick Bibby

Nick's family history is steeped in entrepreneurship and a deep respect for that lifestyle fuels his work. “Helping out” as a child was not just about chores, it provided an opportunity to observe entrepreneurial parents and relatives in action and an opportunity to take note at a young age of what worked and why.

Those early impressions later manifested themselves in Nick’s own business adventures and led to discoveries that are the core of his unique work as a consultant, counselor, teacher and writer. As Principal of the Bibby Group he is a well-known and respected franchise consultant and a counselor to active and prospective entrepreneurs.

Prior to embracing his own entrepreneurship, he was employed by ITT Corporation where he worked as an operations analyst and reached the director level at age 29. Before corporate life he was an infantry officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and completed a tour of duty in Vietnam.

His formal education includes an MBA from Boston University and an MA in Counseling from Louisiana Tech University.

Nick's insightful articles on franchising and entrepreneurship are found in numerous trade publications and newsletters, and on many Internet sites. His opinions on franchising are sought out by business owners, franchisors, law firms and major news organizations. He also hosted AOL’s Franchise Forum for six years.

In addition to heading the Bibby Group, Nick maintains a counseling practice focused on personal and professional development. He is also a court accepted “franchise expert”, and he has taught entrepreneurship at Louisiana State University (Shreveport).

(Nick Bibby, MBA and MA Counseling is a “franchise consultant” specializing in due diligence for those interested in “buying a franchise” and guidance for successful entrepreneurs when “franchising a business.)
